Teacher Grant Program

The Foundation's Teacher Grant Program is funded primarily by the Annual Campaign and several directed endowment funds. Grants are submitted by teachers by January 31, reviewed and prioritized by the Foundation, and verified for curriculum compatibility by District Staff.

Annual grants are generally awarded for $1000 or less, are short-term, and support individual classrooms/teams and special projects.

The Foundation awarded just over $51,515 for 44 grants for the 2008-09 school year.

Last year, over $47,000 was awarded to 45 grants.

For District Teachers & Staff:

All Minnetonka District staff members are eligible to submit a grant for funding. Grants are for innovative, creative ideas that are not typically funded from normal school or district budgets.
